Once your friend signs up and pays in full, the rewards are on their way — simple as that. 

 

Frequently Asked Questions

Which Friends are not eligible?

Any ‘Friend’ who has been an NHBF Member in the last three months and has either cancelled or let their membership lapse would not be eligible.

How many Friends can I refer?

You can refer as many 'Friends' as you like, and you'll be rewarded for each successful recommendation.

When can I submit a referral?

All 'Friend' referrals are eligible as soon as you become an active NHBF Member.

When would I receive my reward?

Once your 'Friend' has: 

  • Successfully joined the NHBF
  • Paid their membership in full

You will receive your voucher within 30 days of them joining. 

What if my reward doesn’t arrive?

If you've claimed your reward and it hasn't arrived within 30 days, please contact a member of our team at 01234 831965.

What happens if I cancel my membership?

If you cancel your NHBF membership, you will no longer be able to participate in the scheme.

What happens if my referred Friend cancels their membership?

Nothing. As the Member will have paid their full subscription for you to receive your reward.

I used to be a Member of NHBF – can I apply?

Absolutely! You can apply for a new NHBF membership, and as soon as it’s active, you’ll be able to refer friends. Please note that 'Friends' who were Members in the last three months but canceled or let their membership lapse won’t be eligible for the reward.

My Friend has referred me – what do I need to do?

Call the membership team at 01234 831965, tell them who referred you, and they’ll help you sign up and apply your discount.

Terms & Conditions

Refer a Friend - Terms & Conditions

  1. Our Refer and Earn offer (the "Offer") is open to existing NHBF Members whose accounts are up to date at the time of the recommendation and who hold a valid current NHBF membership number ("Members").
  2. Members qualify for the £25.00 high street voucher ("Free Voucher") if their friend ("Friend") whom they have recommended:
    (a) is eligible for salon, solo membership or group membership,
    (b) successfully completes the application process
    (c) has successfully paid for their membership in (full minus their £25.00 discount).
  3. The Offer is not open to Friends who have been a Member in the last three months and, either cancelled, or let their NHBF membership lapse.

  4.  The Offer is not open to NHBF employees or NHBF representatives.

  5. The Offer is not open to group Member recommending other salons to be added to their own group membership.
  6. By providing your friend's contact details, you confirm that you have obtained their consent. We will mention you as the person who made the recommendation when we contact your friend. The details provided will only be used to discuss NHBF membership and the Recommend a Friend scheme. 
  7. Your Friend will automatically receive their £25.00 discount off their membership fee as long as they join and pay their membership fee in full.
  8. Members will be sent their £25.00 high street voucher within 30 days of the new Member joining and paying.
  9. The £25.00 discount off NHBF membership and the £25.00 high street voucher cannot be exchanged for cash, be transferred or used to reduce any outstanding charges owed by Members or their Friends. Any cancellation of a Member’s NHBF subscription (for whatever reason) or deactivation of the NHBF membership will result in the loss of any accrued discounts or vouchers.
  10. Members may benefit from an unlimited amount of successful referrals or recommendations.
  11. The Offer is not available in conjunction with any other NHBF discount or promotion.
  12. The NHBF has the right to amend or withdraw the Offer at any time and without notice.
  13. These terms and conditions may be amended by the NHBF at any time and without notice.
  14. Normal NHBF terms and conditions (including the requirement for new Members to sign up for an initial period of 12 months) and the NHBF’s Privacy Policy will apply to all new Members introduced through the Offer.
