The National Hairdressers’ Federation has appointed a Senior Manager from one of the UK’s leading workplace and vocational training bodies to be its new Secretary General.
After an intensive recruitment process, Hilary Hall, currently director of customer service and operations at the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM), will take up her new role at the Federation from April 15.
She replaces Eileen Lawson, who took early retirement at the end of last year after serving the Federation for five years.
The ILM has a 40,000-strong membership and is the UK’s largest qualifications’ awarding body for leadership and management development programmes.
