Finalists for the NHBF’s Business Awards gathered at a glitzy ceremony last night in Birmingham to crown the winners. The NHBF launched its Business Awards in 2017 to mark its milestone 75th year and recognise the success of some of the best hair, barber and beauty businesses in the industry.
The NHBF hosted the awards ceremony at its 75th anniversary event at the VOX conference centre. Business Awards finalists from across the country found out who had won each of the nine categories, before partying the night away and celebrating their success.
The NHBF’s Business Award winners are:
- Best independent hair or beauty salon – Richard Wallace Hair
- Best independent barbershop or male grooming business – The Master
Barber’s Shop
- Best group of businesses – Mr Barbers
- Best new business – Melissa Timperley Salons
- Best client experience – Elements Lifestyle
- Best community support – The H.A.I.R Foundation, Martyn Maxey
Hairdressing & Beauty
- Best apprentice – Charlotte Blower, Exceed Salon
- Best front of house – AKA Professional Hairdressing
- Best environmentally friendly business – Anne Veck Hair
- Best independent hair or beauty salon (highly commended) – Anthony John salons
