2 May 2019
On Wednesday 1 May 2019, the Hair & Beauty Community Awards run by the NHBF and the NHBF (NHBF) took place at a reception held at the Houses of Parliament. The awards were launched in 2019 to recognise and promote the fantastic work hair salons, barbershops and beauty salons do to support their local communities.
Kelly Tolhurst, Minister for Small Business, Paul Uppal, the Small Business Commissioner, Mark Pawsey and many other MPs attended the Hair & Beauty Community Awards to learn more about the sector and their contribution to high streets. The reception was also attended by hair and beauty business owners from across the country who were invited to attend as a result of entering the awards.
