Campaigning for you – House of Lords future skills inquiry
The NHBF has put in a submission to the House of Lords Industry and Regulators Committee inquiry into future skills policy around apprenticeships and training. The inquiry raises important questions about the skills the UK economy needs in the future, the role of the government and business in developing skills policy and strategy, how institutions including Skills England could be best structured and how the proposed Growth & Skills levy could incentivise small businesses to take on apprentices. The inquiry allows a range of interested organisations to give evidence and provide constructive information and recommendations that the Committee can put to the government.
