Top 50 SME Apprenticeship employers

Last week, the Top 50 SME Apprenticeship Employers rankings for 2023 were published.

Among the 50 SMEs were four NHBF Members. Congratulations to each one of you for making the list. They are:

5: Less Than Zero Barbers Hairdressing

12: Jamie Mettyear Hairdressing

36: Daniel Galvin Hairdressing

45: Exceed Hairdressing

Entry Criteria Entries for the Top 50 SME Apprenticeship Employers were open to apprenticeship employers with 10-249 employees who had a minimum of three apprentices.

Each employer entering the rankings provided three key pieces of data – the number of apprentices that started a new apprenticeship with the employer from 1st April 2022 to 31st March 2023, the diversity of these new apprentices, and the number of apprentices that successfully completed apprenticeships during the year. Employers' entry data was independently verified, weighted according to the size of the employer's workforce, and then scored to calculate the 2023 rankings.
